Sad Sad Day, I just found out that the amazing guitar player Jeff Healy died from cancer a few weeks ago.
I wont say much here just checkout these 2 clips to see how truly spectacular he was when on form.
Be ready to spot Mr Music Jools Holland for 2 seconds at the top of this clip ... and wade through the cringe-worthy intro from the nobby who is presenting the show ....
This ones extra poinient really as both players are now no longer with us ... 2 of the most exiting blues players of recent times, and in my mind leaving unfilled shoes.........

I was lucky enough to see Jeff Healy when he played at the Town and Country in 88/89 tore the place up. And also had tickets to see SRV at Hammersmith, but that one didn't happen.
Check out his version of 'I'm Tore Down' from the 'Roadhouse' soundtrack - incredible
